進念二十面體特約詩人廖偉棠策劃了「開往辛亥年的火車」這一寫作計劃，計劃結合「民國／革命」與火車意象兩個主題，由詩人提出個人的行走寫作路徑（均和中港臺鐵路線相關）和寫作目標（都與辛亥革命百年史或鐵路沿線現實有關），完成詩作和視覺藝術作品。

「開往辛亥年的火車」是「建築是藝術節2011」的壓軸項目，將在香港兆基創意書院展出詩稿與詩人在路上拍攝的照片、藝術家盧燕珊拍攝的錄像，展覽於12月10日開幕，將有參與詩人到場朗誦詩歌，並於12月11日在展場舉辦「革命與詩歌」討論會。

“The Train to the 1911 Revolution -- An Exhibition of Poems and Videos” is a writing project commissioned by Zuni Icosahedron. Curated by Poet Liu Wai Tong, the project links up the theme of “Republic / Revolution” with the ideology of Train. Following the journey of the writing path and goal that suggested by the poets, all exhibited poems and visual art works are related to not only the railways of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, but also the history of 1911 Revolution.

“The Train to the 1911 Revolution” is the finale event of “Architecture Is Art Festival 2011”. Not only poems and photos by poets to be exhibited, but also the video by Lo Yin Shan to be shown in the Gallery of HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity. Participating poets will give a poetry recitation during the exhibition opening on 10th December 2011 and the “Revolution and Poetry” Seminar on 11th December 2011.
